This is more of a question than suggestion (I wasn't sure where to post this).

I noticed that private Steam profiles "freeze" the visible player hours in TF2Center. Out of curiosity, do lobby hour requirements restrict these players from joining?

So, for example, if the lobby requires 900 hours but a player put their profile on private at 850 and have since then reached 900+, can they not join?

If that's the case, do we as players have to periodically make our profiles public, sign into TF2C to update it, and then make it private again? Or if there's an alternative way to do so, that would be great.

I know it's a rare occurrence, but I just wanted to double check in case it does happen.

Thanks!

I think the only way would be to unprivate and update your hours.

That's correct. The API doesn't allow us to get details for private profiles, so we can't change it.
