Was afk for 3 minutes (family needed urgent help), when buddy unready'd our team once he got instantly reported. When asking why, was told to shut up rudely with no stated reason. teammate reported as a joke while 3 of the players that reported were on the enemy team.

some of the players that reported were toxic in previous matches about him being "too good".

And for the record, next lobby opened was filled up almost immediately.

Doesn't matter, man. Closing lobbies before the match ends is not allowed except in the case of server problems, long waits with multiple sub slots not being taken, or multiple players asking for the closure of the lobby.

 

If you feel that the players that reported your friend did so without any proper reasoning, or acted toxic/rude throughout the beginning of the lobby, you may create a report thread and I will see if things check out to distribute bans to them.
