Joined a NA 6s lobby on cp_snakewater_u14. got booted from server because it wouldn't download the map to my computer, then I recieved a 30 minute cooldown. This is annoying and unnecessary. You should be able to detect when a player was booted for a reason like this and circumvent the ban.

So you're saying you didn't hang 11 follow players out to dry? It's not your fault that you don't know which map you have installed?

 

The cooldown system was designed for people not having their shit in order; enjoy!

Ok, so then if you're gonna punish people who do not know you have to manually install each map, I might suggest telling people they have to do that in the tutorial.

You don't have to manually install a new map, TF2 will automatically download and install it for you; it depends mostly on your Internet speed how long that will take. But since we're allowing players a majestic 3 minutes to download the map and join the server, I think there should be no problem at all...
