Idea/Suggestion Type:
Lobby page
Description:
After a lobby has launched, the lobby page is restricted to only those players that are in the lobby. I think the lobby leader should also have access to the lobby page regardless of if they are actually in the lobby.

The page remains if the lobby leader does not close the browser window; but does not work when directly hitting the url of the lobby.

Sometimes issues arise that require the lobby leader to close the lobby. I have always felt the safer method for doing this would be to close the lobby from tf2c. (as opposed to shutting down the server / ending the reservation) As the latter (atleast used to) cause players to gain cooldown.
Pros/Cons:
pros: interpret from description
cons: depending on architecture; may be more trouble than it is worth.

If the a leader, who isn't going to play, wants to see the Lobby page after it has launched, he should leave the screen open...

I tend to start more lobbies than I join.  One time I got steam message asking for me to close the lobby because it was falling apart.  I tried to re-open the page but could not.  I was hoping it would be as simple as adding something like @Secured(ROLE_LOBBY_CREATOR);   otherwise, n/m.

In the future; if there is a legitimate need / unanimous desire for a lobby to close, is it safe to end a serveme reservation?  or would people get hit with a cooldown?

Ignore my previous comment;

The case you describe is unfortunate, but not the general case, where Lobby leaders tend to join their own Lobby. I don't find this change worth my very precious time...
