Explanation for unban:

 

So I've recently been banned from joining for 3 days because of playing Demo in a HL lobby when my assigned class was Soldier:

 

L 06/22/2014 - 12:20:30: "Oneshotfail LFT<79><STEAM_0:1:42499928><Red>" disconnected (reason "Oneshotfail LFT timed out")
L 06/22/2014 - 12:21:04: "Console<0><Console><Console>" say "[TF2Center]: Reporting RED DEMOMAN: Oneshotfail"
L 06/22/2014 - 12:21:08: "TERRY CREWS<63><STEAM_0:0:41801398><Red>" changed role to "demoman"

 

However, the order of events was thus:

1: I join as soldier, and play.

2: Our original demo (Oneshotfail) disconnects partway through the lobby.

3: Since we were losing, and Demo is more important than soldier on Viaduct, I opt to play demo until our sub arrives.

4: Our sub arrives, and joins as soldier, since I was still alive and on Demo.  

5: I noticed his arrival a bit later on, and go to spectate for him to change back to Demo.

6: We play for a bit longer, and then he disconnects as well. 

7: So, I go back to Demo, and play until our next sub, Rev, arrives.

8: He does not mention anything about my playing Demo, and was not in mumble, so I continue playing Demo with him on soldier with no complaints from him, until the lobby ends.

 

I can provide my POV if needed, or any additional information necessary.

I'm unsure of where exactly in the demo this takes place though, sorry about that.

I've looked at the demo and talked directly to Terry. He's been warned to vacate the spot if a sub does join in the case that he is filling in for a more important class, but there's nothing to suggest that anything was malicious, nor was there any request for him to vacate the spot. Because it is not a mumble required lobby, any request must be done over in game text chat, of which there was none of importance.

 

As such this has been downgraded from a ban to a warning.
