I keep getting mumble required lobby bans even though I am always in mumble. Just finished a lobby where I was in mumble and now I have a mumble lobby ban. What's going on? :c I love mumble lobbies... Currently still in mumble from previous lobby too

Likely an IP issue. Are you using a VPN / proxy of any kind?

Nope, I'm using my companys own internet service. I work for a WISP. We are using CGNAT through 4 public IP addresses if I remember correctly. Could this be the issue?

Yes. Your mumble IP and TF2C IP must be the same. If they aren't, it won't be able to match.

Ok well we can't do anything about that. Are you able to send me privately the alleged IP addresses for TF2C and Mumble at the time that I got the ban yesterday?

Not sure why that would help.

 

In this case, if you cannot control your outbound IPs, I would recommend using a VPN for all of your traffic (site + mumble, so not just some browser extension), as that will force it to one IP.

Ok, I'll use a VPN. I've just received another ban so please could this be removed? And then I will start using a VPN
