I have an idea. A good idea i think.

 

It cames to me just while talking on the general chat.

 

Reporting someone should display a notification to players in other lobbies that wants to play the missing class. It links two problems :

 

• When you need a sub player and nobody joins
• When you wait for hours in the lobby before the game begins

For example :

 

In lobby #1, the blu heavy leaves the lobby. Players rep him.

 

In lobby #2, heavies are waiting the game to begin (Medic quest). Sudenly, a notification appears, asking if they want to syb the heavy in lobby #1. If one heavy accept, he moves in lobby #1.

 

Ain't that a good idea ?

This is an interesting design choice: either you have lobbies take longer to launch, or you have launched lobbies have higher quality.

 

The idea could be refined such subs from a mumble required lobby do not reach people in a non-mumble required lobby. I find that subs for a mumble lobby don't always join mumble.

Yep, joining terms (min hours or mumble) should be taken into account.

I up this topic because i find this idea interresting and i think that this deserves to be integrated ^^
