During a game today I held my push-to-talk button while I had music playing in the background (I was going to make a call when my heavy killed their med) and TF2C | Void banned me nearly immediately for 'micspamming'. I asked him to unban me, which he said he would until the game ended and now I can't get ahold of him. Sorry for disrupting coms, I'll keep my music on a lower volume setting during games.

It was happening for ~10 seconds so I had assumed that he was micspamming, as he was also using the generic 'DEMO' name in mumble. I misjudged this, my fault, and unbanned him immediatly.. I also told him he was unbanned. :/

I still can't connect to mumble

I'd post the error message I get when I try to connect but the forum posting feature won't let me cntrl+v. It's just a recurring cycle of server connection failed. reconnecting... server connection failed. reconnecting...

Keyed, you'll need to make a screenprint, save it to your local machine, and then attach a file (and include in message).  I don't think that copy/paste of images works on any forums - you have to store them off and upload.

 

It might be helpful if you posted your external IP address. You can find this if you are good with your router, otherwise go to some place like this: http://www.whatismyip.com/

Actually it doesn't I connected to the wrong server. (redacted) is my IP

Found and removed ip ban.  Please confirm it is now working, keyed.

It's working, thank you for helping me with this. As a side note: people with permissions to IP should also know how to unban an IP from mumble. Just sayin'

Mumble automatically IP bans, but didn't tell me your IP, and there was multiple people IP banned with the same name and the same exact reason, so I wasn't sure who it was. I'm not sure why you are blaming me for something I had no control over.
