This lobby was a weird one. Firstly, red soldier pocket tried to join the game and it came up with "Only lobby players allowed to join this game".

The red medic (cxr.labs) also got kicked out from the slot as soon as the lobby started or just before it started, which immediately went to "Substitute required". You can tell he didn't get repped or anything, just started without him. The whole system didn't even know the medic was missing so it didn't even request a sub - http://puu.sh/oj1j6/c032889401.jpg

Because of all this confusion and missing players, players started repping themselves and one asked for lobby closure so I closed the lobby.

It's been fun, thanks for the ride.

Update: Happened again the next day with https://tf2center.com/lobbies/682128

Original medic didn't join the lobby and got repped. A sub joined but then immediately went to sub wanted again. No one can join the sub spot.

It's been fun, thanks for the ride.

I have no idea what happened; it seems your case is inconsistent with the audit log. Since you have powers yourself, why don't you check the events out yourself:

  1. Open any player profile
  2. Open "User bans history"
  3. Change the filter: date must be within the proper bounds (April 1st - today), remove the specific steamId, add the Lobby#no in the far right filter: 681595
  4. Hit "search"

Happened with https://tf2center.com/lobbies/683983

This time I saw what happened. When it is during the ready up stage and player is ready, then suddenly a player enters the vacant. The lobby starts and think's the other spot is filled. The player claimed he didn't even change slots.

Here is audit:

LOBBY JOIN: BLUE DEMOMAN

LOBBY INTERNAL CLEAR SLOT: OTHER_SLOT_SELECTED | RED DEMOMAN

LOBBY READY: RED DEMOMAN: true

Can we try and resolve this problem?

It's been fun, thanks for the ride.

How often does this happen?

Happened twice thus far between a few days. Doesn't seem to be happening anymore, but could try to re-create.

This feels strangely like it falls into the crazy stuff that players do that causes the system to get confused.

It's hard to make a system that gets in the head of a user and figures out everything that they could possibly do and codes for every case.

Corner case, let's bring this up when we have a good precise sequence of what happened so that we can determine if this is worth spending time on?
