Whoops, I made a typo. I meant Kritz is NOT the best for koth.

Most teams we scrim are using kritz, can you explain how you came to that conclusion?

The majority of teams we scrim in NA Plat have always used uber on most koth maps. It's deemed a "safer" charge to use, and if you're aware of the other team running kritz, it's fairly easy to kite and repush with an uber without dropping anyone. Kritz seems to work better against uncoordinated teams, OR when both medics die at the same time, and one decides to run kritz to have the advantage.

I might add a few minor points:

1. constantly move and jump and imagine a spy or sniper on you at all times.  Medics standing fairly still die more.

2. Know the map, know where the sniper can see you, try to stay away from there if you can.

3. More conservative play the higher uber/kritz percentage.

4. pop it don't drop it.

5. maybe a basic intro to krit heals.  In a nutshell, how long ago you took damage affects how quickly you heal.  Flank players that come

get heals after 30 seconds of flanking (screwing off from my perspective) and taking damage get instantly healed almost.  Not a lot of players know this fact.

If I could add an extra point :

On Payload defence, buffing the Engineer from time to time is more important than it sounds. The nest will come under a lot of flak, and having 160-185 hp instead of 125 can make a huge difference.

----------------------------

As for kritz on KOTH, I am not a big fan of this approach. The fact that many teams run kritz is more the result of copycat play than a true reflection on what your needs and priorities are and how addressing them will articulate with your team's strengths and weaknesses.

If one team runs uber, the kritz team will have a rather small window of opportunity to attack. More pressure, more mistakes. This makes a team running kritz right off the bat absurdly predictable, because they can't freely choose when to strike versus a more careful uber team. Not to mention that a good sniper will simply wait for the kritz push to wing your demo or medic, leaving you with your pants down while the other team proceeds to counter kritz or spam you.

From the way I see it, kritz seems better if you have no difficulty in pushing the point and want to press your advantage and eliminate the other team's ability to counter attack. Uber is better if your problem is capturing the point in the first place.

Thankyou for this guide, and I am happy to say as someone who has never played a lobby, I was already aware of a lot of the stuff. I have just one question; What do you think my 1st lobby should be? I am kind of scared, if I am honest, to join any lobbies, in case I am not a good enough medic, and someone starts getting mad at me. Should I lobby, firstly as a less "stressful" class, in HL, and then maybe try medic and maybe some 6v6?

Thanks again,
beissel

I would lay off medic for the couple first lobbies, because it takes a while to get game sense.

...*Snicker* Oh wait you think you're right?

Blutsauger is actually very viable it depends on your playstyle more often than not. Some medics would be better off chopping a leg off then switching off the crusaders while others use both depending on map / circumstance. Leave it up to yourself to decide what works for you

-2 Health per second, plus loose the ability to heal at a distance.

Okay it's viable it you can't hit with the crossbow and you can dodge 100% of damage.

Yes to the downsides no to your arguement. I've seen plenty medics that I've mentored use blutsauger in maps such as viaduct and badlands. The heal at range you think is so important you cant use anything else can be solved with a team that know how to rotate heals.

Hi All,

On our much-loved P1, we are able to select several files to play one after another - this was the blue button on the remote ... and when you clicked it, it would select a file in the currently displayed directory. A very simple way to select multiple files to play ... but one that we use every night.

I have not been able to find the same functionality on the T4 ... and as we are thinking of replacing the P1 with a T2 and I am assuming that the T2 interface is largely similar to the T4, I wanted to see whether there is functionality available to do this that I have been unable to find..?

Does anyone know how this operates on the T4..?

Cheers,
David

I also need google play.
I accidentally uninstalled youtube app. Now when I reinstalled youtube from T1 market, I get this error,
"Youtube wont run without google play services"

Any suggestion to make youtube work without google play
