•Keep in mind that Mumbility has been calculated since October 26th, while the bans have been given out since November 9th.

•Make sure that your browser and Mumble exhibit the same IP.

•It helps if your TF2C name and Mumble name are identical.

•We'll be taking unban requests if you can prove that you were in mumble.

•We'll need your IP and TF2C profile for anything to happen.

The dev team is actively trying to fix Mumbility bugs, it's largely a question of time.

I personally apologize for any delay in approval of these bugs.

i have some 2000 lobbies, i join mumble in 99.9999% of them.. the detection system is quite obviously flawed. why not remove this until you work out the bugs. its nice what your trying to do but i cant join 1/2 the lobbies up anymore because of this. Thanks

So, I just got banned from mumble for the first time, even though every game I have joined, I have used it. I know there was someone in our lobby that wasn't using mumble, so maybe there is a bug there. Where if one person isn't in mumble, everyone gets a ban, possible without him getting one. Just a suggestion, ensure that Mumbility has no bugs that cause this, because it will get really annoying.

Thanks.

If you're gonna lay your heart out without posting your TF2C profile url AND the specific Lobby no where it happened, nothing will happen...

Also, please indicate what lobby you were counted as not in mumble.

Master, I'd love to know how to find out which lobby it reported me as not in mumble for. Would you be willing to lay off the snark for a sec and help me out? I'm just trying to figure out why it's doing this despite joining mumble for every single lobby I've ever done. I'd be willing to go through all 118 that I have done to figure out which ones your messed up system fucked up on, but a little guidance will be necessary. I've clicked on the link that is provided with the ban on my profile page, and it takes me right back to my profile page.

The "link" does nothing with the auto-ban system. It's used when moderators apply a ban. Hence why it did nothing when you clicked it.

The way to prove if you've been in mumble is simple, look at the mumble icon. If it's not lit up, and your in mumble, take a screenshot of mumble & the tf2c page, and post here.

Also, you can trigger a "refresh" on the mumble by disconnecting / reconnecting, or deafening / undeafening. This should fix essentially all mumbility errors. It's the same as turning it off and on again. If that doesn't work, than post here.

We spoke about this last night in that failed Upward lobby. I'm trying to figure out how to go back and find which lobbies it counted me as "not in mumble" in the past, not actively police it as I have the fix you provided. MasterNoob hinted that there was a way to do this as he/she stated there would be no review of the system unless we showed which lobbies it occurred in.

You still haven't posted your profile url; you really expect me to magically know who you are?

Profile link and we can check your last lobbies, look in your browser history, look at logs.tf, etc.

Yo I got a mumble required lobby ban after joining a sub spot in a lobby (and joining mumble) then getting randomly banned from the server. I then joined another lobby that was mumble required and joined mumble but my mumbility went up to 6. Someone pls help. I'm copying this from another thread in hopes someone gets back to me faster

Why would you keep the punishment thing online while there is still a lot of bugs with it...?

•Keep in mind that Mumbility has been calculated since October 26th, while the bans have been given out since November 9th.

And why would you record the bans while delaying the enforcement? Most people don't check the forums and don't have a way of knowing this is going to happen.

The bugs come up due to various reasons, and it was tested for a long time. It's actually quite accurate, but with certain people it seems to be having a recurring problem.

When 10,000+ people are using it every day, there are bound to be some bugs.

Master- what profile URL are you talking about? My steam one? Or the TF2Center one I linked earlier? Are you really this much of a prick or is English not your first language? I posted everything Luop90 asked for earlier in the thread, so is there something I'm missing?

Luop90- If you go further up in the thread after you asked for peoples' info I had posted it, along with everything else you asked for.

Thanks for the reminder, I didn't see it. Your mumbility level is back to 0, so I'm guessing it's working for you now? The two people who did post profile links are both back to 0, which probably means it was a one time error.

Could the people consistently having this issue post links / steam IDs?

I've played a lot of lobbies since the "mumbilitiy" recorded, so I really can't say which lobbies I know which were mumble required and I was in. I can say for sure there was at least 2 where I didn't join mumble legitimately. I doubt 6..

like its possible for people like myself with 2000 lobbies to go back and try to figure out where YOUR system screwed up?? this whole thing is not winning you guys any fans the way you are pushing something out which is obviously broken at the core. first real negative thing ive seen with center since its inception .. you guys have done a fantastic job up until now

Also was banned for not being in mumble when I am always in mumble, even when it's not required.  An hour later, a friend was also banned for not being in mumble, when he was.

My Steam ID: http://steamcommunit...id/SSChallenger

My Friend's Steam ID: http://steamcommunit...61197997580919/

I'm guessing that the lobby I was banned after was #256236.  I know that Polk was banned after #256311.

In my case, I joined the mumble, then tf2center's mumble autolaunch fucked up everything up, so I ended up sitting in the wrong mumble for the first round, realizing that my team was oddly silent, and then manually moving myself into the correct mumble for the second and third rounds.  In Polk's case, he was there the entire time with no issues.

I think a lot of confusion has arisen on people getting higher bans than what they thought was "first level". The mumbility levels were around for over a week before the bans were put in place, so the next ban level would have been applied if you didn't join mumble again.

If the mumbility is still counting you as "not in mumble", but you are, do this before posting.
- Deafen / undeafen yourself. This will cause a refresh, and you should be counted in mumble.
- If that doesn't work, disconnect / reconnect. This will also trigger a refresh, and you should be counted in.

If both of those fail, than take a screenshot of mumble, and the lobby page. Post it here with your steamid/profile link, and the lobby #. This will greatly speed up the time it takes for the devs to go in and check, as they have all the required info.
