New to TF2 center, looking to improve at the game and find a team

i'm rather new to TF2Center and was looking to join a team and to improve at the game. currently the characters i play the most are demoman, medic and pyro. but i am willing to learn and play just about any roles that people need. doesn't matter to me what format we play i'm very agreeable and willing to work with any team that wants me to join them.
