I hope I can post it here...

Ehm, so...
Did everything following the not-very-old tutorial. And so, the server runs. I even see it in my LAN tab and it's working perfectly. However, I cannot connect to it.

Port is open.
Tried both local and public IPs.
Looks like other can connect to it, I can't.
start.bat:
.\tf2\srcds.exe -console -game tf -ip 192.168.0.99 -hostport 27015 -clientport 27015 +sv_pure 1 +map ctf_2fort +maxplayers 24
Changing 'hostport' to 'port' and back doesn't help.
Adding/removing 'clientport' as well.

When I try to connect, connection fails after 4 retries.

Whoever helps me gets a cuddle. Thank you, love you. <3

Problems occur when connecting to the server from a client running on the same host.

You would have to start the two applications in a specific order, which I failed to determine myself after testing, or do something that I was unable to identify.

You are better off renting a dedicated server.
